French, Milton, A., Jr., ‘Bud’, 88, of Barrington, RI, passed away on January 30, 2015 with family, friends and his dog Mickey by his side. Bud was predeceased by his wife Doris French (Brown) and they are now reunited and dancing and laughing together once again.

He was the son of Frances Perkins and Milton A. French, Sr. and brother of Elizabeth Smith.

Bud was a World War II Veteran. When Bud retired from Coca-Cola, he and Doris moved to Ormond Beach, FL, where they enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, cruising and dancing in the warm weather for 26 years. He and Doris returned to RI 5 years ago where he reacquainted with old friends and met his best buddy George.

Back in RI, he enjoyed going to the Red Sox games, gardening, walking the neighborhood and hanging out with the ‘gang’ watching the Red Sox, Patriots and just sitting and talking.

He is already deeply missed by his daughter, Gail French; his sons, Gary French and his wife Pat Eng and Robert French and his wife Kathy and their daughter, Andrea.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours are Saturday morning 10-11 a.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Bud’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Rhode Island, 345 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI, 02906 in loving memory of his wife Doris would be deeply appreciated.
