Barr, Nancy, L., 61, of Massasoit Avenue, died unexpectedly on May 23, 2016.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edward S. and Mary V. (Penkala) Barr, she lived in Barrington since 1989.

Ms. Barr was a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a volunteer for the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency.

She is survived by a brother, Edward J. Barr and his wife Andrea of Indialantic, FL; a niece, Marisa Barr and a nephew, Philip Barr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday June 6, 2016 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
