Lima, Olivia, 89, of Jackson Avenue, Riverside died peacefully on Monday January 20, 2014 at RI Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Manuel Lima Sr. for 53 years.

Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she came to The United States in 1968 with her family. She was the daughter of the late Maria da Luz Camara and the late Jose Botelho.

Olivia was a communicant of St. Brendan Church, Riverside. She was an avid gardener and a great cook.

She was the loving mother of eight children; Joe Lima, Manuel Lima Jr., Luciano Lima, Alda Bonin, Maria Batista, with whom she lived with for the past two years, John Lima, Connie Moniz and Lorene Faria, sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the step-sister of the late Maria da Conceicao Martins, Maria de Lurdes Benevidos and Artur Branco.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday January 23, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Calling hours are Thursday morning 8 am- 9am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
