  5. Hi Mom, Just thought I would check in as it will be two weeks Sunday. I miss tucking you in at night and seeing you smile as I say, “I will see you in the morning.” I miss your good night, sleep tight, do not let the benuccis bite line, followed by an okie dokie! My heart is happy that you are at peace, and I do feel your presence so so much, however, I can not lie, I do miss you and wish you were here with me in bodily form. Thank you for being my best friend, we got mad at each other, laughed with each other, were sad with each other, and most of all loved each other. I hope you know just how much I do love you. The kids and I were blessed to have you in our lives so long. Love you Mom, xo.

  20. Hey Mom, you always new how to pull on my Heartstrings. You will never be alone because you took a piece of me with you. I will miss trying to find a way to come and get the grass cut. Hearing your voice telling me to come in when I was done. And being amazed how someone could cook me a steak boil potatoes and have them mashed along with a vegetable. Sundays before the dementia pasta, meatballs a salad that only you could make. I love you Mom, you took what’s left of my heart with you. I have to say thank you to my sister Donna,Sean and the kids. They gave my mother incredible comfort on a day-to-day basis as she suffered from dementia. It was something to witness and gave me Comfort when I left after a visit, knowing she was in such incredible care. With love and a kiss on the cheek. Your thick headed son, Stephen
