Barry, Patricia C., 86, of Briarfield Road, Barrington, died peacefully on October 23, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Barry Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John V. and Jane (Brody) Davidson, she lived in Barrington for 57 years.

Patricia graduated from Hope High School, Providence, Class of 1954, Barry University, Miami Florida and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Rhode Island College.

Mrs. Barry was an elementary guidance counselor in the Providence Public Schools for over 30 years.

Patricia will be missed and remembered for her love of literature, old classic movies and famous quotations. Her favorite was “May a happy bright star always light your path”.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Barry of Barrington; a son, Thomas W. Barry III and his wife Maria of Barrington; two grandchildren, Thomas W. Barry IV of Barrington and Dr. Sarah Quaratella and her husband Zack of Denver, Colorado and a great granddaughter, Chloe Quaratella.

A private burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. Contributions in Patricia’s memory to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
