Cochran-MacKay, Patricia L., (Fisher), 65, of Quarry Street, East Providence, died peacefully on July 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Paul Fisher Sr. and Marilyn (Rose) Fisher, she was a lifelong resident of East Providence.
Mrs. Cochran-MacKay was a loan officer at the Greenwood Credit Union, Warwick for 20 years before retiring in 2018.
Patricia was a communicant of St. Brendan Church where she also was a member of the church choir, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was a volunteer at the Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen and Pantry at St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her loving family.
She is survived by two sons, Robert S. Cochran Jr. of Riverside and Christopher P. Cochran of East Providence; a daughter, Dawn M. Cochran of East Providence, three brothers, Scott W. Fisher of Portland, ME, Michael Fisher Sr. of East Providence and Kelly Fisher Sr. of Sutton, MA; a sister, Sally A. Curran of East Providence and eight grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Matthew M. Cochran and sister of the late Paul Fisher Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday July 18, 2019 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
I am so sorry for your loss and to hear this sad news, I did not know Pat well but she was my co worker and she always took the time to say hello with a big smile. She was very kind and welcoming always. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Pat at Greenwood she was a good friend and mentor. We had a lot of good times there. I know how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. Rest in Peace Pat.
I want to offer my sincerest sympathies to Pat’s family. I worked with Pat at GCU and she was the nicest, sweetest, most caring person. She adored and loved her family and always spoke with such affection about her kids and her grandchildren.

Patty’s kindness and thoughtfulness was so apparent and would shine through every day. Her beautiful smile made your own worries melt away. I was blessed to have worked with her and got to enjoy her beautiful heart. She will be deeply missed.
