Paul E. Finn

Finn, Paul, E., 92, of Hoppin Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on March 29, 2010 at home. He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Keenan) Finn.
Born in Malden, MA, a son of the late James and Agnes (Harrington) Finn, he lived in Riverside for 53 years.
Mr. Finn was the director of transportation for the former First National Stores for 42 years before retiring in the late 1970’s. He later was the building supervisor in the Peterson Recreation Center at Providence College for 20 years before retiring in 1999.
Paul was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and was a member of their bowling league. He was also a member of the Silver Spring Golf Course.
Mr. Finn was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II.
He is survived by a son; Paul E. Finn and his wife Lynne A. Finn of Riverside, a daughter; Maribeth Finn of Riverside and two step-grandchildren; Robin DeCosta of Ketchum, ID and Todd DeCosta of Lacey, Washington.
His funeral will be held on Monday April 5, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Great human being who I sorely missed after my graduation from PC in 85… Truly a caring person who I had the privilege of working with in the Peterson Rec Center …. Always brought back a signed baseball from Red Sox Spring training – one in a million …. Still Thinking of you, PC Pat ‘85
