Savard, Paul, F., 70, of Wannisett Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on October 22, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Judith L. (Carlson) Savard.

A lifelong resident of Riverside, he was the son of the late Ulysse A. and Edith M. (Rafferty) Savard.

Mr. Savard was the owner and operator of the New England Drywall Company Inc. for 35 years before retiring in 2010.

Paul enjoyed boating, hunting and building cars.

Mr. Savard was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam.

Besides his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a son; Paul F. Savard Jr. of Waterford, VT; a daughter, Susan C. Benfeito of West Warwick; a sister, Eileen LeFranc of Florida; five brothers, Ulysse Savard of North Easton, MA, Raymond Savard of South Attleboro, Richard Savard of Bristol, Milton Savard of Riverside and Albert Savard of Georgia; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday October 27, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with a Committal Service at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 301 South County Trail, Exeter at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow.
