Paul M. Cole

Date of Passing:

February 19, 2026

Paul M. Cole, 34, of Waterman Avenue, East Providence, died unexpectedly on February 19, 2026.

Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Robin Barros of Riverside and the late Paul W. Cole, he was a lifelong resident of East Providence and a familiar, friendly presence in the community he called home.

Paul worked as a laborer in construction for the past two years and previously dedicated ten years as a chef at Town Pizza, Riverside.

In his youth, he proudly played as an Allstar Riverside Little League Baseball player, creating memories on the field that reflected his lifelong love of sports.

An avid sports enthusiast, Paul also enjoyed fishing, clamming and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his loving children. Whether sharing laughter, offering guidance, or simply being present, Paul’s greatest joy was being their father.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his three children, Sean M. Cole, Paul M. Cole Jr., and Ava Valcorba, all of East Providence; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Charles and Joan (Tetrault) Cole and the late George and Joan (Bonin) Barros.

Paul’s life, though far too brief, was marked by love for his family, dedication to his work, and a deep connection to his community. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of sports, and the devotion he showed to his children each and every day.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Flowers may be sent to his mother Robin Barros, 89 Warren Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914.
