McShane, Paula, A., 69, of Pearce Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully at home on Monday January 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Patrick J. McShane.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Adrian and Helen (Medeiros) Oddi, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Paula was a chiropractic assistant for 19 years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church where she was a former member of the church choir which performed at the Vatican for Pope John Paul II. She was a member of the Loggia Maria 2406.

Paula was a devoted mother, grandmother and adored her family and friends. She loved hosting family gatherings, cooking for Sunday dinners, sleepovers with her grandchildren and sitting on the patio listening to the oldies with her husband. She was the heart of her family. Paula gave of herself without question and loved unconditionally.

Besides her husband of 51 years, she is survived by a daughter, Kelly J. Cotoia and her husband Joseph of Harrisville; two sons, Patrick A. McShane and his wife Catherine of Seekonk, MA and Ryan C. McShane of East Providence; two sisters, Deborah M. Phillips and her husband Edgar of Riverside and Pamela S. Watson and her husband James of Riverside; five grandchildren, Brianna, Jared, Ryan, Tara and Adriana and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Friday January 15, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
