  1. My deepest condolences to the Fournier family,

I am really sorry to hear about Paula. May the God of all comfort give you peace of mind in this difficult times. Please know it was never God’s purpose for people to die. Actually The Only True God, Jehovah, considers death an enemy he is getting rid of in the near future so no one has to go through this pain ever again. (Psalm 83:18) He will also give life again to our loved ones including your beautiful Paula. These Bible promises are found in 1 Corinthians 15:16 “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing” and Acts 21:45 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” May you find hope in these amazing promises.

  23. To the Fournier and Saraiva families:
I was very saddened to hear the news of Paula’s passing. We were in grammar school together and over the past several years have been in touch on social media. When I think of Paula, the words “compassionate, thoughtful, and kind” come to mind. I admired her for her work with the foster cats and often would look to her for advice on my own neighborhood strays. Although we hadn’t seen each other in person in many years, I counted her as a friend and she will be missed. Honored and blessed to have known her. My deepest sympathies.

May she be eternally happy in the company of her mother until we are all reunited once again. we are so privileged to have had her in our lives. She had an enormous heart that she readily shared her love with stray or orphaned cats and dogs often fostering and most times committing herself to their health and well being by adopting them herself. what a beautiful lady she was, inside and out, and will be sorely missed .Neil and Alison. our thoughts and prayers are with you as well. your Mom was a special lady and we are proud to have known her. anything Jan or I can do to help, please let us know. Sister…. till we meet again…. we love you
