Kwolek, Philomena, A., (DeAngelis), ‘Fannie’, 88, of Sowams Road, died peacefully on June 9, 2014. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Kwolek.

A lifelong resident of Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Julia (Varone) DeAngelis.

Mrs. Kwolek was a winder for the former RI Lace Works for over 50 years.

Philomena was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. She was a member of the St. Anthony Society and was active volunteer in fundraising.

She is survived by two sons, Alfred J. Kwolek Jr. of North Kingstown and Ronald A. Kwolek and his wife Kathy of Barrington; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Peter and Vincent DeAngelis.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday June 12, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-6 pm.
