Ezovski, Ralph W., 67, of Washington Road, Barrington, died peacefully on January 26, 2024 at Miriam Hospital, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Noyes) Ezovski.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Stephen and Ruby (Marks) Ezovski, he lived in Barrington for 44 years.

Mr. Ezovski was a member of the East Providence Police Department for 21 years retiring a Lieutenant in 1997. He was the Rhode Island State Director of NAGE-IBPO for the past 26 years. He also was an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Program at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA.

Ralph was a graduate of Roger Williams University and the New England School of Law. He was a member of the Riverside American Legion Post #10 and the East Providence FOP Lodge #1. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with his loving family.

Mr. Ezovski was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era.

Besides his wife of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Sara E. Broomhead and her husband Adam of Barrington; a son, Justin N. Ezovski of Barrington; three grandchildren, Max Ezovski, Charley Broomhead and Lucy Broomhead and a brother Michael Ezovski of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late Sandra Radcliff, Joy Malloy, Brian Ezovski and Cheryl Andrews.

His Funeral will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service with Military Honors in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington at 11 a.m.

Calling hours are Friday February 2, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Ralph’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 289, Canton, MA, 02021 would be deeply appreciated.

  15. So very sorry to hear of Ralph passing. He was the greatest guy. I met him through IBPO, him and Tony Capezza. I retired from SKPD and went to Naval War College Security. Ralph was instrumental in getting security guards into IBPO. RIP friend. We will meet again.
