Raymond Gonsalves, 65, of Warren Avenue, East Providence died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at home. He was the companion of Catherine O’Brien.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Caesar and Madeline (Marcellino) Gonsalves.

Raymond was a US Army Veteran. He was a 1967 graduate of East Providence High School.He was a truck driver for many years before his retirement. Raymond truly enjoyed life.

He leaves three daughters. Melanie Robinson, Monica and Stephanie Gonsalves, a son, Raymond Gonsalves Jr., two sisters, Jeannette Lomba and her husband Frank, and Eva Soares, a brother, Norman Gonsalves, three grandchildren, James Raymond Anderson III, Evan and Mia Robinson, a host of nieces and nephews, and his former wife Deborah (Augustus) Gonsalves.

His funeral service will be held Monday, May 11th at 8:00 AM in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue Riverside, followed by interment with military honors in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
