Goff, Richard A., 80, of Woodward Avenue, Seekonk, MA, died peacefully at home on May 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marlene A. (Medeiros) Goff.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late George D. and Eva L. (Desmaris) Goff, he was a lifelong resident of Seekonk, MA and summered on Prudence Island since 1972.

Mr. Goff was a Manager for the former Almacs Grocery Stores for 36 years before retiring in 1995. He also was a member and bartender for the Warren German American Club, Warren from 1995-2018.

Richard enjoyed spending time on Prudence Island with his loving family.

Mr. Goff was a United States Army Reserves Veteran.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by two daughters, Deborah Goff Cronin of Rumford and Kristin Lee Murphy and her husband Jamie of Seekonk, MA; a brother, George D. Goff of Fall River, MA and four grandchildren, Riley, Taylor, Jack and Harry.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Saturday morning 9 a.m.-11 a.m. A private burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery, Seekonk, MA.

  10. Dear Marlene, I don’t know if you remember me or not. We worked at Hospital Trust installment, loan department together. I was Lenny Curran’s, and Betty Heap’s secretary. I was so sorry to read of the passing of your husband Dick. I lost my husband in 2006. I miss him still every day may your memories of Dick comfort you during this difficult time and may he rest in peace.
