Murphy, Richard L., 69, of Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence, died unexpectedly at home on May 19, 2023.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Henry and Laura (Colucci) Murphy, he lived in North Providence for the last 4 years.

Mr. Murphy was an electrician in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his children, Michael, Riley and Shrena Murphy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six grandsons, Maiko, Eddie, Hakeem, King, Kevin and Ali; a granddaughter, Shana; three great-granddaughters, Anna Maria, Lily and Maria; two sisters, Melanie Murphy of Narragansett and Roslyn Kleffman of Crownsville, MD; a brother, Tod Murphy of Corpus Christi, TX; two cousins, Judith (Soares) Costa of Smithfield and Toures and her husband, Nunu of New Mexico.

A Private Burial will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
