Richard Patrick English, 72, of Main Street, Riverside died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 22, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Adria Lee (Brown) English.
Born in Providence, son of the late Thomas P. English and Rita (Curran) English he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Mr. English was a welder and truck driver for many years.
A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed classic cars and attending classic car shows with his friends.
Besides his wife of 37 years, he is survived by his sister; Rosemary Souza of Riverside. He was the brother of the late Thomas English and Shirley Carlone.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 2, 2025 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1 p.m. Calling hours are 12 noon to 1 p.m.

We are so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. We have good memories of our time spent with him, especially the way he liked jokes, whether they were someone else’s or a story he cooked up that often made you wonder if it was true or false. Rest in peace, Rick.
