Robert E. โ€œBobโ€ Valenti, 76, of Stanton Avenue, Riverside, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Denise E. (Duprey) Valenti, with whom he shared many cherished years of love, partnership, and devotion.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Orlando and Gloria (Rabideau) Valenti. Robert had been a proud resident of Riverside for 53 years, where he built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and care for his family and community.

A man of great skill and integrity, Robert worked as an oil burner technician, electrician, and master pipe fitter for over 35 years. His dedication to his trade and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local #251 and the Barrington American Legion Post #8.

Robert honorably served his country as a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era, stationed in Germany. His service was a point of pride for him and for those who loved him, a testament to his quiet strength and sense of duty.

Those who knew Robert will remember his steadfast presence, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and the love he held for his family. He was a man who lived with purpose, humility, and deep respect for the people in his life.

Robert will be dearly missed, but his legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on in all who had the honor of knowing him.

Besides his wife of 53 years, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Valenti of Riverside; a son, Jarrod Robert Valenti of Riverside; a brother, John Valenti of Warren; a sister, Aggie Hozempa of Bristol and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Thursday, October 2 ,2025 from 5pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary of the Bay Church, Main Street, Warren on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Jean Baptise Cemetery, Warren.
