Estrella, Robert, 83, of Lindy Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on April 17, 2022 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Damiani) Estrella.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Gill and Theresa (Medeiros) Estrella, he lived in Riverside for 60 years. He was graduate Colt Memorial High School, Bristol Class of 1956.
Mr. Estrella along with his wife Lillian, were the owners of the Gob Shop in Warren for 55 years before retiring in 2020.
Robert was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. He enjoyed gardening, boggle, walking, ice cream and spending time with his loving grandchildren. A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.
Mr. Estrella was a United States Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Estrella Chaplin and her husband David of Virginia, Robert Estrella and his wife Jacqueline of Cranston, Andrea Hogan and her husband Glen of Bristol and John Estrella and his wife Susan of Cranston; two sisters, Marie Tombari and her husband Al of Florida and Tess Page and her husband Lee of Florida; a brother, John Paul Estrella and his wife Jan of Texas and thirteen grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Gill Estrella.
His Funeral will be held on Friday April 22, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday April 21, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Robert’s memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.

So sorry to read about Bob’s (and preceded by lil) passing. I worked for Bob & Lil at Gob shop as a very young adult in late 80’s and the impact both had on me was immense. Such great people and memories that I will never forget. Condolences to all the Estrella family
