Sullivan, Robert, G., 82, of Promenade Street, died peacefully on April 20, 2014.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Edward and Madeline (Kelley) Sullivan, he lived in Barrington for 72 years.

Mr. Sullivan was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for many years.

Robert was a communicant of St. Luke Church. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, Brian Sullivan of Longboat Key, FL, William Sullivan of Galena, IL and Madeline Sullivan Grimm of Knoxville, TN and sister-in-law, Maris Sullivan of Knoxville, TN. He was the brother of the late William J. Sullivan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Thursday May 1, 2014 at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Robert’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be deeply appreciated. Arrangements are by the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, Riverside.
