Falaguerra, Robert R., 66, of Glenn Avenue, Riverside died peacefully on September 3, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rita C. (Paradiso) Falaguerra.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Ralph and Anna (Decesare) Falaguerra, he was a lifelong resident of East Providence.

Mr. Falaguerra was a union plumber for Local #51 for 35 years before retiring in 2002.

Robert was a member of the Sons of Italy and The German Club of Warren. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid baseball player and a devoted New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed bowling, billiards and playing cards.

Mr. Falaguerra was a Rhode Island Air National Guard Veteran.

Besides his wife of 41 years, he is survived by a son; Robert R. Falaguerra Jr. of Chicago, IL, a daughter; Pamela Falaguerra Riddle and her husband Brent of North Grafton, MA, two grandchildren; Christian and Gianna Riddle and two brothers; Louis Falaguerra and Ralph Falaguerra, both of Riverside. He was the brother of the late Anthony Falaguerra.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Loreto, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence at 9:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
