Cauley, Robert, W., 64, of Stoney Brook Lane, died peacefully on May 24, 2013.

Born in Providence, he was the son of William M. Cauley Jr. of Barrington and the late Margaret E. (Thorpe) Cauley.

Mr. Cauley was a dishwasher at the Holiday Inn, Mansfield for over 20 years. He also worked at the Attleboro Enterprises.

Robert enjoyed swimming, softball and basketball where he was a member of the Beta Basketball Team. He participated in the Massachusetts Special Olympics where he was awarded several ribbons.

Besides his father, he is survived by four sisters; Karen (James) Garlick of South Attleboro, MA, Anne Cauley of Barrington, Eileen Fantasia of Seekonk, MA and Jane (Charles) Walsh of Cranston, three brothers; James (Pauline) Cauley of Pawtucket, William (Heidi) Cauley of Attleboro, MA, Stephen (Linda) Cauley of Plainville, MA, a sister-in-law; Sharon E. LaPorte of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ronald W. Cauley. His Stoney Brook family; Cheryl Lopes, Kelly Henry, Joe Teaway Jr., Anthony Soto, Kathy Nicholson, Denna Nolan, Lola Aderinto, Aissatou Diallo, HMEA, Community Partners, BETA, Linda Crompton, DDS and The ARC.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, East Providence at 8 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday morning 8-9 am.
