Laurendeau, Roger, K., 64, of Lunn Street, Riverside, died unexpectedly on November 8, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann (Charron) Laurendeau.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Phillip and Molly B. (Holloway) Laurendeau, he lived in Riverside for 23 years.

Mr. Laurendeau was a Firefighter for the Providence Fire Department for 30 years before retiring in 2003. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

Roger was a member of the Riverside American Legion Post #10, Providence Fire Fighters Local #799 and the Kelley-Gazzero V.F.W. Post #2812. He was a licensed pilot who enjoyed flying, fishing, camping and gardening.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Brian R. Laurendeau of Milford, MA, a daughter; Jill A. Mancini of Pawtucket, a sister; Jeanne D’Arezzo of North Kingstown and two expecting grandchildren.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 9 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Monday 3-7 pm.
