DiQuinzio, Romeo, 79, of Grant Street, died peacefully on January 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Marabello) DiQuinzio.

A lifelong resident of Barrington, he was a son of the late Grazio and Margaret (Cuzzone) DiQuinzio.

Mr. DiQuinzio was the owner and operator of Romeo’s Restaurant for 17 years.

Romeo was a former member of the Barrington American Legion Post #8. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and crabbing.

Mr. DiQuinzio was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by two daughters; Donna L. Smith and her husband Edward of Seekonk, MA and Deborah A. DiQuinzio and her husband Wendell Clough of Pawtucket and three grandchildren; Nicholas, Nathan and Bethany Smith. He was the brother of the late Clementina Paolozzi, Alfred, Domenic, Carmen and Angelo DiQuinzio.

His funeral service will be held on Friday January 10, 2014 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 pm.
