Holmes, Ronald, C., 74, of Middle Highway, died peacefully on June 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Oatt) Holmes.

Born in Pembroke, MA, a son of the late Elbridge G. and Anne L. (Pierce) Holmes, he lived in Barrington for 28 years.

Mr. Holmes was an accountant for many years.

Ronald was a member of the Christian Life Worship Center.

Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by five daughters, Dawn M. Sullivan and her husband Dennis of Providence, Deanna and Robert of Seekonk, MA, Amanda J. Steffens and her husband Gary of Cranston, Michaela A. Holmes of Stafford, VA and Rhonda F. Holmes of Barrington; ten grandchildren, Bethany, Becky and Libby Sullivan, Megan, Leanne, Rachael, Brandi, Carley Poirier and Emma and Eli Steffens and two brothers, C. Lee Holmes of East Bridgewater, MA and Paul A. Holmes of Bridgewater, MA.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday June 29, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
