Larisa, Rose Marie, (Carbone), 76, of Bay Spring Avenue, formerly of Foote Street, died unexpectedly at home on December 26, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Larisa Sr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Carmine and Marie (Malafronte) Carbone, she lived in Barrington for 58 years.

Rose Marie was a volunteer at Miriam Hospital for many years.

She is survived by a son, Robert J. Larisa Jr. of Barrington; a daughter, Anna Marie Cangiano of Riverside; two brothers, Lucien E. Carbone of Seekonk, MA and Anthony Carbone of East Providence; a God daughter, Tamatha Carbone of New York City, NY; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Donna A. Jordan.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday December 30, 2017 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. Calling hours are Friday 4-8 p.m.

  9. I worked with Rose over 35 years ago. I’ve never forgotten how kind she was to me. She was a treasure. My deepest condolences to her family.

(Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death.
