Roy A. Medeiros

Medeiros, Roy A., 76, of Logan Court, Seekonk, MA, died peacefully on May 1, 2021 of acute myeloid leukemia. He was the beloved husband of MaryLu (Anterni) Medeiros.
Born in New Bedford, MA, a son of the late Alvarino and Elsie (Rapoza) Medeiros, he lived in Seekonk, MA for 8 years and previously in Riverside, RI for 34 years.
Mr. Medeiros was a Controller for various area manufacturers for 48 years.
Roy was a graduate of UMass Dartmouth Class of 1972 and attended Babson College. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife of 41 years, he is survived by two daughters, Alanna L. Carreiro of Mattapoisett, MA and Lauren E. Medeiros of Providence; a son, Christopher R. Medeiros and his wife Janine of Seekonk, MA; a brother, Alan Medeiros of Norton, MA; four grandchildren and two dear cousins, Elaine Drace of South Dartmouth, MA and Randall Domingos of Kissimmee, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday May 6, 2021 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 3-7 p.m. Funeral and burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
