McCarthy, Ruth, R., (Randlett), 93, of Pine Street, Riverside, died peacefully on August 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Charles V. McCarthy.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Haven F. and Emma (Reynolds) Randlett.

Mrs. McCarthy was a salesperson and a dedicated volunteer.

She is survived by three daughters, Gail R. Burdon of Higganum, CT, Patricia A. Rebollo of Riverside and Jennifer R. Buckland of Providence; two sons, Charles V. McCarthy Jr. of Barrington and William H. McCarthy of Bristol; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was the mother of the late Judith Z. Hammond and sister of the late Zylpha Wilcox, Hetty Madden and Haven Randlett Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 7, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 8, 2015 in the Riverside Congregational Church, Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Spring Vale Cemetery, Rumford.
