Jennings, Ryan N., 36, of Sowams Road, Barrington, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2018.

Born in Providence, a son of Jo-ann M. (Lamontagne) Jones of Barrington and Gary Jennings of Rehoboth, MA, he lived in Barrington for 24 years.

Mr. Jennings was a Lifeguard for many years. He was a United States Army National Guard Veteran.

Ryan was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 2001 and New England Institute of Technology.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a stepfather, Earl Jones of Barrington; a step-mother, Linda Jennings of Rehoboth, MA; three step-brothers, Barrett Jones of Munich, Germany, Brent Jones of Apex, North Carolina and David Moonsamroth of Providence; a step-sister, Amy Delgiacco of Lititz, PA; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was the grandson of the late Richard and Jo-ann (Raimondi) Lamontagne and Forrest and Genevieve (Pakuc) Jennings.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday August 7, 2018, from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angel’s Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m.

Calling hours are Monday 4-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Ryan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be deeply appreciated.

    There are no words to express how sorry Mike & I are for your loss. I remember running into Ryan at the beach on Block Island many years ago. He was so friendly and sweet when Mike told him who we were. Hold on to the good memories you have. He will always be in your heart.
