Gregoire, Sandra, A., ‘Sandy’, 59, of Ernest Street, died peacefully on March 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Norman F. Gregoire.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel and Cora (Hewey) Medeiros, she lived in Barrington for 39 years previously residing in the Fox Point section of Providence.

Mrs. Gregoire was a caregiver at Atria Bay Spring Assisted Living for the past twelve years.

An animal lover, Sandra enjoyed feeding all the animals in the neighborhood and spending time with her loving family.

Besides her husband of 43 years, she is survived by a son; Benjamin Gregoire of Barrington, a daughter; Lisa Bruno and her husband Michael of Attleboro, MA and a sister; Linda Boudreau of Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Marie Mattson.

Her funeral will be held on Monday March 24, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence at 9 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 3-6 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
