Scott R. Fournier

Scott R. Fournier, 65, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Vales) Fournier.
Born in Barrington, RI, he was the son of the late Robert Fournier and Eunice (Pearson) Fournier. He was the step-son of Jean Fournier.
A graduate of Barrington High School, Scott was a residential painting contractor in Barrington for nearly forty-five years.
Scott had a deep appreciation for music and was a lifelong reader. He was a sports enthusiast who looked forward to watching the Red Sox, P.C. Friars Basketball, and Washington “Redskins” Commanders.
Scott was an avid golfer and he enjoyed summer days spent at Second Beach with a cold beer. He also loved traveling with his family and planned vacations to the Caribbean and throughout the country.
Scott was known for his strong work ethic, charisma, and wit. People truly loved being around him.
Scott faced nearly two years of pancreatic cancer with strength, supported by his devoted family and friends.
Scott was a compassionate husband and dedicated father. He loved his three “girls” tremendously. Besides his wife of 33 years, Jacqueline, Scott leaves his two daughters, Jocelyn and Haley Fournier.
Scott also leaves his two siblings, Bruce Fournier (Katheryn) of Lebanon, CT, and Diane Heitmiller (Scott) of Nelson, NH. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Scott will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will live in our hearts forever.
Calling hours will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Friday October 24, 2025 from 3-6 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave, Pawtucket on Saturday October 25, 2025 at 9 a.m. Burial will be held in Seekonk Cemetery, Dexter Street, Seekonk, MA.
