Stevens, Sharon, A., (Camara), 59, of Barrington, died on Monday January 31, 2011 at the Eleanor Slater Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas E. Stevens. Mr. & Mrs. Stevens were married for 36 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of John Camara of East Providence and the late Doris Camara. Mrs. Stevens was employed by the Barrington Public School Department for 17 years.

Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her two daughters; her sister, a brother and their families. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and teacher.

A Memorial Mass in Sharon’s honor will be held on Friday February 4, 2011 at St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 9 am. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Sharon’s memory to the Sharon Stevens Scholarship Fund, 1705 Wampanoag Trail, Barrington, RI, 02806 would be deeply appreciated. Arrangements are by the W.
