Carbone, Sharon M., (Chase), 67, of Balding Avenue, died unexpectedly on May 13, 2018. She was the beloved wife of James A. Carbone.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Shea) Chase, she was a lifelong resident of East Providence.

Mrs. Carbone worked at Riverside Cleansers for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her cats.

Besides her husband of 46 years, she is survived by a sister, Frances A. Chase of Riverside. She was the sister of the late Robert E. Chase, Thomas G. Chase and Linda M. Chase.

Her funeral will be private. Burial will be held in Foster. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Sharon’s memory to the New England Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, Suite #200, Framingham, MA, 01701 would be deeply appreciated.
