Davis, Stacy A., 67, of Wamsetta Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 26, 2022 at the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of James M. Davis.

Born in Bath, Maine, a daughter of the late John P. and Amelia (Quarto) Smith, she lived in Riverside for 31 years.

Mrs. Davis was a medical secretary for Dr. Richard Bianco for 10 years. She was also a manager at the former Extra Mart, Riverside, the Riverside Texaco Gas Station and for the Riverside Cleaners.

Stacy enjoyed cooking, solving crossword puzzles, knitting, walks on the beach, spending time with her loving family and being a team mom for the Riverside Raiders Football Team.

Besides her husband of forty six years, she is survived by three children, Joshua A. Davis of Riverside, Jared A. Davis of Charlestown, RI and Amanda Davis-Enos and her husband Michael of Cranston; three grandchildren, Logan, Mason and Cole Enos; a sister, Christine M. Lapre of Arizona City, AZ; three brothers, Louis J. Gelfuso Sr. of VA and Mark S. Smith of New Bern, NC and John P. Smith Jr. of Coventry and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kevin J. Smith.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday December 5, 2022 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston, RI.

Calling hours are Monday morning 9-10 a.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Stacy’s memory to Save the Bay, 100 Save the Bay Drive, Providence, RI 02905 would be deeply appreciated.

  10. Your mom accepted me and my brothers and sisters into her home like we were her kids. I haven’t ever been accepted like that in my life. Whenever I ran into her at Dr. Bianco’s office she always had a smile for me. She was a really wonderful person.
