Gordon, Stella, A., (Miga), 99, formerly of Campbell Avenue, Rumford, died peacefully on Sunday surrounded by her loving family at the Steere House Nursing Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. S. Gerald Gordon.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Macig and Tekla (Swivod) Miga, she lived in Rumford for 41 years.

Mrs. Gordon was a Manager of the former The Community News of East Providence. She enjoyed cats, plants and yard sales.

She is survived by two grandchildren; Melissa T. Simpson of Riverside and David Tierney of Pawtucket and two nieces; Ann Becker of Riverside and Mary Fenlon of CA. She was the mother of the late Michael J. Tierney and sister of the late Raymond J. Miga and Elizabeth Krupwicz.

Her funeral will be private. Burial will be held in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
