Desjarlais, Suzanne, A., 73, of Homewood Avenue, died peacefully on May 19, 2013. She was the wife of the late Gilbert L. Desjarlais.

Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Aldege and Irene (Payeur) Bourget, she lived in North Providence for 23 years.

Mrs. Desjarlais was an Administrative Assistant for the Faubert & Vanasse Insurance Agency for 6 years before retiring in 2002.

Suzanne was a member of the Manton Seniors Club. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by, a daughter; Nancy E. Walkden of Pawtucket, two sons; Richard G. Desjarlais of North Providence and Russell F. Desjarlais of Warwick, three sisters; Jeanine Courtemanche of Jamestown, Carolyn Faubert of North Smithfield and Luann Keller of Port St. Lucie, FL and four grandchildren; Matthew, Renee, Aidan and Andy. She was the sister of the late Charles Bourget.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday May 28, 2013 in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth Street, North Providence at 11 am.
