Bushee, Teresa, P., of Kingstown Road, died peacefully on July 9, 2012 at the Heatherwood Nursing Center, Newport surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William Bushee.

Born in Fisherville, MA, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary E. (Gahagan) Higgins, she lived in Narragansett for 20 years previously residing in Pawtucket.

Mrs. Bushee worked at the Blackstone Valley Gas & Electric Credit Union for 16 years before retiring in 1983.

Teresa was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary A. Sheehan, Catherine B. Diehl, Rita V. Robertson, George D., James R., M. Joseph, Thomas and Francis J. Higgins.

Her funeral will be held on Friday July 13, 2012 from the FAGAN-QUINN FUNERAL HOME, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown at 8:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
