Langlois, Theresa E., 95, of Indian Road, died peacefully on January 6, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Langlois.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Omer and Agnes (Douville) Ferland, she lived in Little Compton for 40 years and wintered in Pompano Beach, FL for over 20 years.

Mrs. Langlois was a supervisor for the former New England Telephone Co. for 28 years before retiring in 1985.

She is survived by her children, Mary Agnes Fennessey of Foster, James J. Langlois of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, Christine E. Langlois of Rumford, Thomas E. Langlois and his wife Gloria of Charlestown, Joseph E. Langlois and his wife Tipayaporn of Rome, Italy and Therese F. Langlois of Rumford; a brother, Roger Ferland and wife Barbara of Attleboro, MA; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dr. Darius (Patricia) Ferland, Brother Sabastian Ferland, Monsignor Oscar Ferland, Reverand Ernest Ferland, Lionel Ferland, Andrew (Roberta) Ferland, Christine (Walter) Fesik, Maurice (Charlotte) Ferland, Marcel (Mary Theresa/Anita) Ferland and Eugene (Elaine) Ferland.

Her funeral will be held on Friday January 12, 2018 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Road, Little Compton at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Calling hours are Thursday 6-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Theresa’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI, 02886 would be deeply appreciated.

  2. So sorry to hear Auntie Theresa passed away. We always joked that she was my favorite Aunt!!!! Every time I would speak to her it reminded me of my mom.
    She was great person and mother. I wish I could of saw her one my time. My prayers for your family.
