Phillips, Thomas, H., Sr., 72, of Rose Lane, Barrington, died peacefully on July 18, 2016 at the home of his daughter surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dolores A. (Hockenhull) Phillips.

Born in Attleboro, MA, a son of the late Clarence T. and Leonia G. (Martin) Phillips, he lived in Barrington for 42 years.

Mr. Phillips was a foreman for the Barrington Department of Public Works before retiring in 2005.

Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and spending time with his loving family.

Besides his wife of 50 years, he is survived by two sons, Thomas H. Phillips Jr. of Barrington and Joseph R. Phillips of Barrington; a daughter, Bethany R. Eastwood and her husband Michael of Riverside; a sister, Leona F. Phillips of Barrington; three brothers, Charles V. Phillips of Riverside, George E. Phillips of North Providence and Vincent F. Phillips of Barrington; five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jared, Hannah, Rose and Emma and former daughter-in-law, Annette Phillips of North Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of the late Dorothy A. Phillips and brother-in-law of the late Valerie Martinelli.

His funeral will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
