Tsonos, Tula T., of Tiffany Circle, died peacefully on February 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late George K. Tsonos.

Born in New York City, NY, a daughter of the late Themis and Nicolitza (Gavriles) Anderson, she lived in Barrington for 61 years.

Mrs. Tsonos was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She also was a member of the Barrington YMCA. Tula enjoyed being a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She especially cherished being a ‘Yia Yia’ to her four grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Nicole T. DiMatteo and her husband John of Barrington; a son, Dean G. Tsonos and his wife Suzanne of Centreville, VA and four grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Peter, Louis and Harold Anderson.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2016 from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 a.m. with a Funeral Service in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
