Victor DeAngelis, 77, of Whipple Avenue, Barrington, a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly January 22, 2010

Victor graduated from Barrington High School in 1951 where he was class president. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell Kentucky. As co-owner of DeAngelis Electric, he gave generously of his time and talent to his parish and his community. He was a member of the American Legion Post 8 and a past Kiwanis Club President.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, AnnaLea Silverman, his son Stephen, daughter-in-law Suzanne and grandsons, Erik, Kyle and Thomas all of Barrington and daughter, Valerie and her husband William Bailey of Riverview Florida, brother Joseph and his wife Anna of Wheaton Maryland, sister Mary Suriani of Barrington, brother Salvatore and his wife Margaret of Barrington, brother Ralph and his wife Mary of Coventry, and Alfred of Warren. He is the brother of the late Armando, Romeo, Mario and Rocco all of Barrington.

He leaves a lifetime of memories for us to cherish to keep his flame burning.

Calling hours are Friday Jan 29th from 5-8pm in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan 30th in St Luke’s, Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 11am. Military Honors will follow at the church. Burial will be private.
