Arico, Vincent, A., 80, of Planet Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on January 14, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Natalie G. (Soares) Arico.

Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Anthony J. and Mary (Chellel) Arico, he lived in Riverside for many years previously residing in Barrington.

Mr. Arico was a salesman for the Nabisco Co. for 32 years. After retiring, he then went on to be a bus monitor for the East Providence School Department for 10 years.

Vincent was a 30 year communicant and usher at St. Brendan Church. He was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1952 where he was selected as a member of the Rhode Island All-State Men’s Track team.

Mr. Arico was a former member of the Bishop Hickey Knights of Columbus, a former Riverside Pop Warner Football coach and a former woman’s CYO basketball coach. A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed walking his dog, Sasha.

Vincent was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1954-1956.

Besides his wife of 24 years, he is survived by his children, Mary Anne Vincent of East Providence, Monica L. Manni of Warwick and Vincent J. Arico of Laguna Niguel, CA; two brothers, Anthony V. Arico of Barrington and Daniel J. Arico of East Providence; seven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren and three step-children, Pamela A. Marsoobian of North Providence, Lisa Mancone of Johnston and Christopher Tessier of Pawtucket.

His funeral will be held on Monday January 19, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington. Calling hours are Sunday 4-6 p.m
