Auclair, Wilfrid, N., Jr., 82, of Pawtucket Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on January 23, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Leona T. (Smith) Auclair.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Wilfrid N. and Mary (Toomey) Auclair, he lived in Riverside for 54 years.

Mr. Auclair was a truck driver for 42 years before retiring in 2005.

Wilfred was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Auclair was a member of the U.S.S. Pursuit Alumni U.S. Navy reunion. He enjoyed good food, good drinks and good times with his loving family.

Besides his wife of 59 years, he is survived by three sons, Wilfred N. Auclair of Belchertown, MA, Mark A. Auclair of Brunswick, ME and Joseph L. Auclair of North Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Sandra L. Gifford of Seekonk, MA and Julie A. Cook of Riverside and eight grandchildren, April L. Devires, Jay and Ian Gifford, Jennifer, Andrew and Joseph Auclair and Daniel and Robert Cook. He was the father of the late James A. Auclair.

His funeral service will be held on Friday January 30, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 5-8 p.m.
