William J. Glanvill

Glanvill, William J. Jr., 73, of Brook Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on February 4, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Janice M. (Houde) Glanvill.
Born in Providence, a son of the late William J. Glanvill Sr. and Gertrude M. (Hoxie) Glanvill, he lived in Riverside for 44 years.
Mr. Glanvill was a Supervisor of Data Processing at Hasbro Inc. for 20 years.
William enjoyed working on computers and spending time with his loving grandchildren.
Besides his wife of fifty one years, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa M. Cassenti of Moodus, CT and Bethany A. Luttge of Riverside; a son, Kevin D. Glanvill of Riverside; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Abigial, Gerralynn, George, Katie, Daisy and Amelia; a sister, Shirley Quinn of Thompson, CT and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 9, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1 p.m. Calling hours are Thursday morning 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery, Rumford. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in William’s memory to Operation Stand Down, 1010 Hartford Avenue Unit #1, Johnston, RI 02919 would be deeply appreciated.
