Cauley, William M. Jr., 95, of Ocean Avenue, died peacefully on July 15, 2018. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Thorpe) Cauley.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William M. and Winifred (Mahon) Cauley, he lived in Barrington for 31 years.

Mr. Cauley was a Salesman for Thorpe Automotive for 40 years before retiring in 1988.

William was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of the parish Young At Heart Club. He was a member of the Barrington Senior Chorus.

Mr. Cauley was a former Attleboro City Councilman for 10 years. He was a Past Grand Knight for the South Attleboro Knights of Columbus. He also was a former member of the South Attleboro American Legion and St. Theresa’s Church Holy Name Society where he also was a Lector and member of the Church choir.

Mr. Cauley was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WWII.

He is survived by his children, Karen Garlick of South Attleboro; Anne Cauley of Barrington; Eileen Fantasia of Seekonk, MA; James Cauley of Pawtucket; William Cauley of Attleboro; Stephen Cauley of Plainville, MA and Jane Walsh of Cranston; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ronald Cauley and Robert Cauley and brother of the late Doris Coutu.

His Funeral will be held on Thursday July 19, 2018 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday morning 8-9:30 a.m.
