DeCoste, William M., 66, of Bristol Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on December 31, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Theresa M. (Ferrara) DeCoste.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Albert and Matilda (Feid) DeCoste, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. DeCoste was the owner and operator of Schroder’s Deli & Catering, Riverside since 2006. He previously was the owner of DME for 17 years.

William was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. He enjoyed boating and spending time on Narragansett Bay with his loving family.

Besides his wife of 45 years, he is survived by two daughters, Ellen Anne McGovern and husband David of Barrington and Lisa M. DeCoste of Riverside; two sons, Andrew W. DeCoste and his wife Lina of Miami, FL and Daniel M. DeCoste and his wife Danielle of Seekonk, MA; a brother, Lawrence DeCoste of Pawtucket; two sisters, Joan Stedman of Martha’s Vineyard, MA and Gail Costa of Riverside and seven grandchildren, William, Michael, Greyson, Griffin, Noah, Georgianna and Julia. He was the brother of the late Ross DeCoste.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside on Monday January 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. A private graveside burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in William’s memory to St. Brendan Church, 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside, RI, 02915 would be deeply appreciated.
